Compling Mplayer from SVN?is it currently feasible to build mplayer.dll from svn in order to use the new features with xbmc? i know it used to be, but the guide is out of date, and the instructions no longer work.
i read a post elsewhere on this forum that seemed to imply it would be impossible to make use of the latest mplayer without making major changes to xbmc, so i thought i'd ask.
one of the mplayer devs has written an ssa/ass subtitle rendering patch, which has been committed to svn. since this is my #01 must-have feature, i'm certainly intrigued.

It will make sure all sees your photos.
Slide shows are rare to see, especially on blogger.
But to transfer you Flickr photos, I have a smart idea.
Take a jump drive and cut and paste the photos onto it. Then exit the Flickr photo page and keep the jump drive page. Then bring up the slide show posts and drag the Flickr photos into it.
Then use the slide show.
But HOW is the real question.

Sometimes these retractable lenses are hit (if the camera falls down and hits the floor), and they get damaged in terms of calibration.
Maybe this is the problem.
If so, then take it to your local store and get the lens re-calibrated.im no expert but try cleaning the lense a dirty lense could easily confuse the processor into not being able to get focus on any objects because everything is actually blurred from the smudge!...... - 2010-03-07

I have a combobox being populated from a bound XMLconnection component, and that's working fine. What I need to do is add a row at the top of the box that says "Show All" with a value of "all". I've tried using the component inspector label and value fields, but by binding to a data source, I seem to be overwriting the row I put in the inspector.

Searching a Site Based on FoldersI am wracking my brain trying to figure out what is wrong with Zoom, that it won't search through my site. I have tried doing it in offline mode and crawling the site on the internet. I have the site set up with many separate folders and files in those folders, rather than one big list of html files. Tripod in carry-on baggage?I posted this on the beyond-basics forum, but maybe it's better here.
It's umpteen years since I've been on a commercial flight with my tripod. Is there any problem with putting a tripod in your carryon? I want to take my trusty Bogen 3021 (no pointy feet) with me, but I hadn't planned on checking any baggage on this trip (domestic US flight -- US Scareways).As long as your carry-on bag will take 24.1" for the length of the tripod folded down and your air carrier will allow a carry-on bag that is at least 24.1", you should be good to go. Always add on some padding to those numbers and check with your carrier.

1) Well, the trusty Seagate 60gb I had in my Xbox just died, error 9, all clicky and no worky, tried new cable and that's not it. So I'm gonna pick up a new 160GB drive.
But I had the Xbox softmodded and I can't find any of my backups, drive image, etc. I still have the xboxhdm CD I made. Will this be enough to get it back up and running AND to get the full 160gb? (i've only used it on an 80 and 60gb)
2) And I bought the Xbox for cheap knowing it has a dodgy drive. I have a spare DVDROM/CDRW drive I want to use, but want to put it inside the Xbox and not have it sitting all dodgy on top. I don't need to play originals, it's purely an XBMC box and want it to watch XviD stuff I have on CD.

SD cards for my Nikon D60This is probably one of the silliest questions, but if I don't ask I won't find out right?
Will my D60 take any size SD card? I am going overseas in 3 weeks time, and am looking at getting an 8GB card.

1.99 a gal in Pa, not bad. It hit close to $5.00 a gal this summer and I think it will go back up, but there also raising taxes on food and everything else that's a necessity. So either way its insane$2.07 in Eastern Oregon. I hope they stay down but I doubt it. They are already talking about raising the price of a barrel to $75. I'm not gonna complain tho, Oregon gas went up to $4.45 per gallon this summer. $1.52 in Ohio.

I need to make XML-based banner. XML file itself will contain from 5 up to 30 tags (childNodes). It is supposed that this XML file gonna be edited by the client, so the client can add/remove or change data (that is, quantity of ChildNodes).
