omg it's only like, the 3rd month of school, and i'm already freaking out about failing freshman year! mainly, it's because i'm suddenly failing English because of one project i didn't turn in ..... just one!!! only now does my teacher tell me that it was worth 50% of the grade for the quarter!!! my other grades (except a D in Spanish 1) are pretty good. the thing that always kills the grades for me is homework. as much as i try to make it a point to do it, i always seem to blow it off, and my grades eventually reflect that. back to the English grade: i'm soooo scared! @ the beginning of the year, the teachers told us this: "you have 3 semesters. if you get an F for any of them, you fail the year. even if you have 2 A's and just one F out of those 3, you're screwed." i'm so afraid that this quarter grade will bring down my whole semester grade! please help what should i do?! i had that in 7th grade i had mostly cs,b,A, but one F. it might be possible but its almost impossible. i couldnt so sorry. but still try your hardest and it could happen probibly not thought. and talk to your teach that might help.Well, my suggestion is to go speak to the teacher and let him or her know you are serious about raising your grade. Ask him or her if there is anything you can do in addition to the regular course work to raise your grade--do not use the words: "extra points"!
Also, in English I would seriously try to pay close attention in class, put it first before all other homework, and stay on good terms with the teacher.
Good luck.10 points, no kidding.
Hey, you're the one with the bad grade.Do extra credit work. Lots of it. It really does work. Trust me i've done itYou should actually try doing you work and stop procrastinatingOk I'll give you advice!
1. STUDY!!!
2. DON'T HANG OUT WITH FRIENDS during your studying time or don't talk on the phone!
3. When your studying go over the answers multinple times
4. ACE THE TEST!I can't figure out the grading system. Two A's and an F should be able to range from failing to passing. If a 90 is an A then the low end would be (90 + 90 + 0)/3 = 180/3 = 60. or the high end( if failing is a 69 or lower) (100 + 100 + 69)/3 = 269/3 = 89.66... So I don't get it. Even if you only made a 40 this semester you could skim by with a couple of 86's (40 + 86 + 86)/3 = 212/3 = 70.66...
Talk to your teacher(nicely) and fine out what the grading system is and how many points there are left to get and how they are distributed. See if the teacher will allow you to do a make up project or other work to improve your grade. Of course if you don't make the effort and do the work nothing will save you.
the best thing 2 do is ask the teacher if u can do some extra credit hw.What over here if we get an F one semester than you can go to summer school and do that semester over again..I would Talk to your counseler if i were you. Good luck! You should ask your teacher if there is anyway to get some extra credit points....Do your homework! Do you want to work at Wendy's when your 30?#If you have any other info about this subject , Please add it free.# |
