i dont have an agent or any of that stuff
but without that how do you find movie auditions?
like anything from actual characters to just the extras you see in them?
can anyone help me outHey Robert. This all depends on where you live, of course. Oddly enough, on occasion Craigslist will have advertisements for movie extras. Also, you city and state will have a movie commission. This is one of ours in SF and CA to give you an idea.

These are great to get ideas, surf a little and maybe even click your way to some work. Here are also some interesting sites. Now, granted, some may charge a minimal fee (one here charges $25 a year) but after one job, you have paid it plus a little left over!

I hope these lead you somewhere. Just remember - although these services may cost you a small fee, yo should never have to pay anyone to get you a job. Managers and agents take a commission AFTER you get the job and receive your pay. Let us know where you live and I will try to help a little more.go to IMTA

good luckhttp://www.theactingwebsite.com/online-c...
this website has everything you need.
good luck in getting a parti've actually been wondering about the same thing lately....Ok so extra work is a great place to start. There are lot's of extra companies out there just look them up on the web! Look up extra work or background talent. To get a movie audition you almost always need an agent. Start by taking some acting classes. This is will get you really comfortable with acting and you will learn the techniques of acting. Usually the place that you take acting classes at offers a "showcase" after taking a certain amount of classes through that school. A showcase is where agents come (you will need a agent to get you auditions) and you audition for them. If they like you they call you back and you can sign with them! From then on they represent you and they get you out on auditions. Agents don't cost anything and if they do it is a scam. Agents make their money by taking a small percentage out of what you make. =] Good luck!#If you have any other info about this subject , Please add it free.# |
