My son has been running a fever 101-103 for the past 42 hours, I noticed today he has a redness almost rash-like around his penis and butt. He also has this rash-like above his waist on his back. I'm waiting one more day before I make a 75 mile trip to the emergacy room. Anyone know what this is? He has a fever and a swore throat, he's jumping and playing around but I know he has a fever and his throat is swollen, I hear it in his voice and when he swollows. Also he just got the new Flu-mist four days ago... could that effect him?I had the same symptoms after the flu mist its an allergic reaction to it. I just kept getting sicker. Went to doctors and got medication still feel like crap and have missed a week of work but he says it takes a while to get over.Sounds like strep to me. He needs to be antibiotics and fast. I hope you go first thing in the morning. Give him tylenol thru the night to keep him comfortable.#If you have any other info about this subject , Please add it free.# |
