Mormonism is a branch of Christianity. The Mormons believe that Joeseph Smith was instructed by an angel I believe to write a third book of the Bible. He founded his religion and met a great deal of persecution in Illinois. It culminated with his arrest and execution by a mob. For some reason I thought he died while escaping from jail. Mormons have a lot of different beliefs. They call themselves Christians but they believe that Jesus and satin are brothers they also believe that there is no hell and we all come from a Spirit world.
